CEO CORNER

Social Media and Customer Feedback

Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey. The positive feedback made me feel really warm and fuzzy inside (smile). It's good to know that my work is valued and that it's making a difference where it counts.

As a small business owner, whether your business structure is for profit or nonprofit, you should make it a point to find out how your customers perceive your service. You may have an idea that you think is the best thing since sliced bread. Despite your enthusiasm and personal bias, your customers may disagree.

There is a great deal of excitement about social media and the opportunities that are available to small business owners. I've begun to incorporate these mediums into my marketing strategy and I've already begun to see results. Not only have I connected with new clients, I'm able to generate coversation and monitor that conversation to find out how my readers feel about the services my company provides. This information is invaluable and helps me plan and run my business more efficiently. Get in on the ground floor. I predict, the best is yet to come!
