Can an entrepreneur successfully develop several businesses simultaneously?

 

AccionOn my journey, I've learned to focus on the present task; not to be all over the place, but to build one business idea at a time. I have a dream jar that contains a good handful of future business endeavors I'd like to pursue. For now, I must maintain focus on nurturing my current business and cementing the foundation for it. Once success has been achieved I can then move on to the next bright idea. Being a jack of all trades makes me a master of none.

FUNDING NOTICE
 
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is accepting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2010 Family Centered Substance Abuse Treatment Grants for Adolescents and their Families. The purpose of this program is to provide substance abuse services to adolescents and their families/primary caregivers in geographic areas with unmet need. Grantees will implement evidence-based practices that are context specific focusing on the interaction between youth and their environments, family centered and community-based. The deadline is April 23, 2010. Up to 35, $300,000 awards will be given for up to 3 years. To download the full announcement, visit Grants.gov and search for CFDA  No:93.243.
