As 2009 draws to a close, it is time for reflecting on the year that has passed and the year that is to come. We are grateful for all the attention given to our case.
Your support is very important to us - it is what helps us to survive each day and to have hope for the future, particularly as we spend another holiday season away from those closest to us.
It has been more than six years since our detention began. Over this time we have been fighting not only for ourselves but also for the future of Russia, in the hope that our country will succeed in freeing its legal system from the scourge of political manipulation. Next year, as the current show trial continues, we look forward to presenting our defence against the absurd new charges that have been levelled against us. We will persevere in our struggle for freedom and respect for the rights of all Russian citizens.
We, and our families, are eternally thankful to all who support us in this effort. Those whose travels bring them to Moscow in 2010 are welcome to visit the Khamovnichesky Court to witness first-hand our struggle.
