Over 22K Raised 12th Annual Golf Tournament!
It was a beautiful day to hit the links! On May 12th, golfers  got out their clubs and spikes to support programs and services at one of The Arc's biggest fund raisers of the year.
Although times are tough, we were overwhelmed with the generosity of our sponsors, donors and golfers. As many organizations are canceling their major fund raisers, we were able to not only host our tournament, but we raised over what we raised last year! Quite a feat in this economy!
So thank you, thank you, thank you for your support! Stay tuned for stories on how this $22,000 is impacting the children we serve. |

The Arc CCR's Annual Meeting

September 19, 2010 - "Be a Superhero - Run for a Reason" 5K Run/Walk/Wheel - This is the third annual run to support children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. October 29, 2010 - "Saints and Sinners Cocktail Party" - This incredible event is well on its way to becoming our signature event of the year! Held at The Loews Annapolis Hotel Powerhouse, we transform the three levels into the Sinners' Lounge, The Waiting Room, and The Saints' Sanctuary. Enjoy the jazz in the Lounge and feast on devilish dishes, or wander up to the Sanctuary and enjoy heavenly deserts and then bust a move. Do you know someone that has brightened the life of a person with special needs? The Arc of the Central Chesapeake Region encourages you to pay tribute to that special individual by nominating him/her for our quarterly "Community Hero Award".
Please fill out the nomination form (click here) and send it to fdesk@thearcccr.org or mail it to 931 Spa Road, Annapolis, MD. All submissions will be reviewed by The Arc of the Central Chesapeake Board of Directors, with the winners being announced in our e-newsletters.
All persons that are nominated will receive a certificate of appreciation from The Arc of the Central Chesapeake Region.
