What Is In Your Ark?
Most of you have heard of the biblical story of Noah's ark. But to recap one of story's main points (that Noah endured ridicule, hatred, and envy to obtain his goal), I would like to emphasize on what he had in his ark: his family, provisions, the animals, and hope toward a better future for him and his family. It is well overlooked that this feat took several years, to build his ark. As I look at my forty-plus years on this earth, what do I have in my ark? What I mean by this is that we need love, family, food, and for my Christian brothers and sisters - Jesus.
But who is the captain of your ark? Our three options are (1) Mr. Joe Smooth, the Financial Planner; (2) Government Cheese Please is next; and (3) Passive Income, your third and best option. I am referring to your retirement. According to CNN, the average American age 50 has a negative $10K saved in retirement. Who is going to take care of them?
