Greetings again from
Montana Fly Fishing Guides

Tyler with a nice spring Brown TroutApril is an exciting time of year for all of us, as we begin to feel the first true signs of spring; green grass, warmer days, buds on the trees and the first of the major hatches of the fishing season.

The Yellowstone River has just seen the start of the Mother's Day Caddis hatch and the often overlooked March Brown hatch.  Those anglers that took advantage of our Spring Specials had good fishing not only on the Yellowstone River, but the spring creeks and even the Lower Madison on a few occasions.

If you missed out this spring make sure to take advantage of some summer fishing.  Our calendars are starting to fill up, especially in July and August so if you are planning a trip make sure to contact us at your earliest convenience to ensure your desired dates.

We've also added more ways for you to stay in contact with us.  We update our Facebook page and Twitter account daily.  So if you'd like to stay informed on the latest happenings make sure to follow us there in addition to our often updated Montana Fish Bum Blog

As always if we can provide you with any information or services please feel free to email us or just give us a call.

Tight Lines,
