A new show "Saw Dogs" features 10 power sculptors carving primarily wood. 10 of the Best Wood Power Sculptors from Europe, The States, & Canada rotate through 10 episodes that will begin airing on OLN & Velocity January 24, 2012. 

  

The 15 foot Great Northern Octopus intertwined with a sexy Nautical Queen was the centerpiece for a massive up-scale Rave dress-up party.  The party benefitted the One Drop Foundation to supply Pure drinking water to 3rd world countries.  The Wood Sculpture was surrounded by an ice bar to serve the water for the party.

 

 

Chris Foltz spent about 2 weeks working and filming for the show and in that time learned a lot about the processes for TV and met some of the most awesome & talented wood sculptors from all over. He had great food and hard sleep in the high hills of Squamish Valley BC.  Chris' advice for anyone who wants to start carving- "Work hard, get the right tools, and become obsessed"
