The Studio of Dennis Beach burned to the ground this week. He is an accomplished Ice Carver and truly a master wood carver. He had home insurance which will not cover his tools. The 125th St Paul Winter Carnival is looking for 20 block competition teams. The event is starts Jan 27th at 9am with judging at 9am on January 29th. The first 12 team entries are refunded their entry fee upon completion of piece. A sweatshirt and most meals are also provided. A 2 block individual event is also scheduled for Sunday the 30th with awards banquet that evening. www.winter-carnival.com.
