Fellow Ice Carvers,
We will be heading up to Fort St John in Canada next week. If you would like me to bring you any tools, let me know. If they are light, I can bring them with me.
A French carver is going to Banff & would like me to send a die grinder for him. Are you going to Banff? If so, could I send you the die grinder to give to him?
I have been curious about what ice carvers expenses are. To participate, please send me an email with your expenses expressed as a percentage of revenue. Do not send dollar amounts only percentages of revenue. This info will be kept confidential. I will average all of them together & share only the average.
Use the following expense catagories.
Sample- (remember these are percentages of Revenue)
33.1% Payroll Expense (if you don't take a salary please add a reasonable number for you)
6.2% Rent Expense (or mortgage)
4.2% Utilities Expense (electric, gas, phone, internet, water
3.7% Advertising Expense
1.2% Ice Expense
2.9% Vehicle Expense
1.5% Meals & Travel
2.6% Office supplies
4.1% Tool Expense
3.5% Equipment Expense
1.2% Accounting Expense
1.8% Insurance & Workers Comp
1.4% Repairs and Maintenence
7.5% Misc Expense (any that don't fit into the above)
