Fellow Ice Carvers,
This photograph shows an ice sculpture of a polar bear as it melts to reveal a bronze skeleton. The first picture (top) was taken the first day of the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. The installation is a part of an initiative to put a focus on the consequences of global warming. What a perfect use of our medium, I love this idea
Last week we traveled to Poznzn Poland for an ice carving competition. We had a really nice time. The other carvers & the organizers were all wonderful. It is always nice to add new friends to our Ice Family. We were given 7 blocks and 8 hours to make our sculptures. This was a people choice competition.
It's not too late to order a last minute Christmas gift for that special ice carver on your list who has been naughty or nice. We offer many levels of UPS shipping to get it there on time. We also offer gift certificates. Click here to go to the gift certificate page
We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season with your families.
Stay Cool
