Our old design had the foam cut at 1 1/4" thickness. We increases the thickness to 1 1/2" for 2 reasons-
1. The little switches on flourescent lights no longer turn off when you set the carving in the pan.
2. The increased thickness allows us to add another LED light option. This light has 24 bright LED bulbs. It is much brighter.
