Fellow Ice Carvers,
In an effort to further ice education we have worked with The National Ice Carving Association to create the 2009 Coaches Retreat, July 21-22. Elegant Ice Creations will be hosting part of this retreat at our studio & The Mohican State Resort & Conference Center located on Pleasant Hill Lake in Perrysville,Ohio will serve as the other location. Here are some of the details-
This is a chance for Collegiate and High School Coaches to come together in a relaxed learning environment. One day of hands-on seminars & one day of relaxed discussion and networking at the Mohican State Lodge. Learn carving techniques from some of the best in our industry. Share and relax with other coaches. Earn points to become a NICA Certified Ice Carving Educator. Earn valuable ACF CEH's, NICA Certification Points and Continuing Education Hours.
Meals and Lodging- Lodging for two nights will be covered with your entry fee $50 (NICA
members only) at The Mohican State Resort. Two coaches per room (If you would like to room alone, you will need to pay for your own lodging). NICA & Elegant Ice will cover some meals.

Metallica was recently inducted into the Rock-N-Roll Hall of fame. They ordered a couple of sculptures. Below is a photo of the most memorable :)
This is one of the sculptures Metallica requested for the party celebrating their induction into the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame. (I know the middle finger looks short, they provided the artwork)
