Calendar correction
The "Save the Date" insert in your Annual Meeting packet lists the next Pilgrimage date incorrectly. The correct dates are Oct. 15-16 (or 15-17 in the case of Pilgrimage 2). They are listed on the home page of our website. There is also a Pilgrimage page on the website.

Delegate solicited
The Iowa Conference seeks a delegate to participate in the national Union of Evangelical Churches (UEK) forum.
The UEK Forum is the Wider Church Ministries-mandated group that develops and nurtures the UCC relationship with the Union of Evangelical Churches in Germany. It brings together Conference, seminary, CHHSM, and national ministry representatives. It meets twice a year, once by conference call and once in a face-to-face meeting.
Representatives are chosen because of active involvement in, or serious interest in, participating in this ecumenical and international relationship. A working knowledge of German is useful but not required for participation.
If you would like to be considered, please contact Rich Pleva at 515-277-6369 no later than July 1. |
