In North Carolina, the snow has gone away and the weather has finally started to warm up.  Hope you are finding the same, and hope it stays that way.  Our March e-news features an article on a new burn rate report that can be generated from the Accounting Module Projection System and provides info on an upcoming users group meeting in Pittsburgh.

Planning is an essential part of good grant management and part of that planning requires reliable financial forecasts.  IT Works helps you prepare for the future through its Salary & Benefit Projections and with several of the reports it provides.  One new report combines the salary and benefit projections along with projected non-salary expenditures to provide a more comprehensive burn rate analysis for your accounts.  This new burn rate report uses this projection information to for monthly expenditure analysis and to also determine if and when an account will reach an overspent condition.
