 Defining Dropdowns
IT Works software includes a flexible, multi-tiered security system that controls what a user can see and do with our software.  This security system is designed to meet the specific needs of individual users including granting the ability to view or edit specific data sets.  The security system can allow users to view everything they need but prevent them from viewing or manipulating other confidential data.  Additional display settings provide data filters so that only the most pertinent information is displayed.  One such setting is found inside the Accounting module and controls the Account and Cost Center Dropdown Lists.  Read more for additional info on this feature.

Wow!  What a fabulous year it has been!  Great things have happened here at IT Works and we have enjoyed celebrating these moments with you.  This year has seen the launch of our E-News which has been delivering important tips and info to your inbox each month.  We've had added 15 new installations and so we welcome aboard all of our new clients! This year has also seen the development of our latest product-- Effort Administrator.  (Effort Administrator is our internet-based time and effort certification and reporting solution for administrators and research faculty.) Also, with over 200 modifications to our Department Manager and College Administrator modules, we are doing our best to provide you with the superior customer service that you deserve.  As the year 2009 comes to a close, we want to take this opportunity to say thanks to YOU for making our progress possible.

 

A Face with a Name

This month's Face with a Name series introduces you to Audrey Wrenn in Sales and Marketing.  You may have had the opportunity to hear Audrey's sweet southern voice on the phone or been graced by her warm smile at a conference.   Audrey is a native of North Carolina who grew up in Clinton, NC.
 
Did you know?  Audrey holds a Masters Degree in Education from East Carolina University and was in the teaching profession for 15 years prior to coming to IT Works.  When Audrey met and married President and CEO of IT Works Jim Wrenn in 2002, she chose to leave the teaching profession to come and be a part of the team at IT Works.
 
Audrey is a fabulous hostess who has the delightful gifts of cooking, hospitality, and decorating.  As a talented author and writer, Audrey also enjoys reading and watching movies too.  What else?  Audrey is big on family and likes to spend time with her step-daughter Hadley and her sons and their families who live in Raleigh and Wilmington.
