Good Day in good May from your friends at IT Works!  They say that "April showers bring May flowers."  Well, here's hoping that you will take a moment to stop and smell the roses!   This month, our Training Section teaches the "how to's" of generating salary coverage reports.  Also in this issue, we want to share a great idea about pre-paid maintenance.  And lastly, we're helping you to put a face with a name--we'll introduce you to IT Works employee-- Linda Lejnar.

Would you like an easy way to determine when your employees are losing funding for their salaries?  This is important information for anyone trying to keep a research team intact.  Our Personnel Module includes several Salary Coverage Reports that provide this information at the press of a button.  Salary Coverage Reports show the amounts and percentages paid from each funding source by month as well as when they end for individual employees in easy to read tables.  These reports also include information about pending grants that may provide future salary support for an employee.  Read more to find out how to implement these reports...

Additional information on the benefits of these reports may also be found in our February 17, 2009 Blog Article.
Warm Regards,

PRE-PAY MAINTENANCE

So you know it's coming-- budgets are getting cut.  If you are looking for an idea on how to plan ahead for the anticipated budget cuts for the next fiscal year--you should consider pre-paying your maintenance fees for your IT Works products.  You know the value of keeping your software updated.  You need to have access to all of the upgrades and changes to the software as well as access to our training and support online.  Pre-paying your maintenance not only saves you money but protects your software investment.   To pre-pay your maintenance, contact Laurie at 919-232-5332 ext. 228.
