Pre Award Documents 
Did you know that the grant module can be used like an electronic file cabinet?  In a recent release, a new feature was added to give users the ability to attach documents to a grant record.  Users can set up their own list of documents (such as a notice of award, routing sheet, fund authority, or budget form) and attach them to individual grants.  These documents may be in PDF, Word, Excel, or text file formats.  Once attached, they can be easily accessed by returning to the grant record and pressing a view document button.  Turn it on and save a tree.  Read more to find out how. Nobel Prize Winner

IT Works would like to congratulate one of our clients Dr. Martin Chalfie for being awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for 2008 for the discovery and development of the green fluorescent protein, GFP.  One of three Chemistry Nobel Prize Laureates, Dr. Chalfie established  the value of GFP as a luminous genetic tag for various biological phenomena.  Because of the research management solutions we develop and implement here at IT Works, scientists like Dr. Chalfie are freed up from management burdens to pursue and advance their passions and unique abilities.   Discover more about this extraordinary accomplishment at
