Greetings!
Email marketing is one of the most powerful and effective marketing tools available to organizations today. And it's not just the "big guys" who are using it. Small chapters are tapping into this incredible resource as well. If you aren't yet using email marketing, here are some compelling reasons for your chapter staff to consider adding it to your marketing mix. And, It's approved by your UFAA Board of Directors.

It's Affordable |
| Email marketing is an easy way to stretch a tight chapter budget. Unlike direct mail, email marketing requires virtually no production or postage costs. There are plans as low as $15 a month that can include up to 500 contacts that you can target on a regular basis saving production costs of printing and postage. (500 x .42 cents postage equals $210.00 plus printing, labels, folding, sealing and sorting.)
Plus, it's profitable for your chapter with newsletter advertising income from local or regional insurance related businesses that want to target market insurance agents, such as, body shops, glass shops, security companies, etc. And, you start with free 60 day trial to get up to speed. |
It's Effective |
You can increase the interest of your current chapter members reducing the number of member dropouts. By staying in touch with them you make sure they remember you when they are in need of the products, services or assistance your chapter and organization provides while informing non-members about UFAA and your local chapter. Thereby, growing your chapter membership.
It's Immediate |
Email communication can generate an immediate interest in your organization. A quick last-minute announcement or reminder of your UFAA meetings can really improve attendance. Open your meetings to non-members to expose them to the organization's benefits. Add a discount or free coupon to buy visiting guest agent's meal. |
It's Measurable |
Unlike most direct mail options, email marketing is measurable. Constant Contact allows you to easily track who opens your email and what links they click on. You actually know who is looking at your messages. Then, create an email list of interested non-members to target market with special issues that include UFAA National and Chapter member benefits.
It's Easy |
Constant Contact makes it easy for you to create professional-looking campaigns with no design or expertise. Your chapter will be provided with UFAA related images in this issue and valuable email addresses for Farmers Agents in your state or area.
Most UFAA Chapters now have free 60 day active trial accounts available with Constant Contact to start learning and practicing on your newsletters.
If you can create emails, you can create newsletters. It's like adding a few emails to text boxes on a single page. And, your advising others about UFAA and your chapter will create more members. Adding commercial advertising to your newsletter will increase chapter income. |
With Constants Contact's excellent toll free customer service and great on line video tutorials, the $15.00 monthly cost for this service is a best buy. Especially, when you consider the quick cost recovery of only 2 new members or your first newsletter ad covers the annual costs.
