Angel Charity's October events

 

Angel Charity for Children has three exciting events this month to help raise funds to build Our Family's new Reunion House shelter for children 12-17.

 

First, their "Prêt à Portea" Fashion Show will take place 2-5 p.m.  Sunday, October 7, at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa. The sophisticated afternoon tea will feature an all-kids runway show of children's designer fashions. Get tickets here.

 

Second, the Angel Charity Men's Club is hosting its 5th Annual Texas Hold'em Poker Party, a private poker event starting at 5:30 p.m. October 12 at Union Public House. The buy-in for a poker player is $200, which includes tournament play and food. Guests of players may attend for $25, which includes entry, food and roulette wheel gaming. Their third October event is the "Broken Halos Comedy for a Cause Show" at 7:30 p.m. October 27 at the Fox Tucson Theatre. The show will feature four hilarious comedians from the popular Chelsea Lately show on E! network -- Jeff "Jiffy" Wild, Chris Franjola, Sarah Colonna and Fortune Feimster. Purchase your tickets here.

 

Proceeds from the events will benefit Our Family and Angel Charity's other 2012 beneficiary, Tucson Nursery Schools.

 

 

 

 

 

 24th Annual Poinsettia Sale begins!

 

Our Family is carrying on the New Beginnings holiday tradition with the agency's 24th Annual Poinsettia Sale.

 

Our poinsettias, which come in red only this year, are sure to add a touch of holiday cheer in a foil-wrapped 6-inch pot. Poinsettias are $13 each ($6.50 is tax-deductible.) All proceeds benefit Our Family Services.

 

Poinsettias will be available for pickup at our midtown warehouse December 6, 7 and 8. (You'll receive an email confirmation with exact address.)

 

For prepaid orders of 12 or more poinsettias, we will be happy to deliver to one home or business address of your choice in Tucson, Green Valley or Sierra Vista.

 

Please order before Thanksgiving. We sold out last year, so order early!
