We make Tucson a more peaceful place
by helping people talk to each other
For more than 30 years, Our Family's Community Mediation program has helped people resolve their differences with respect, without violence, and without going to court.
Though many people know mediation solely from an animal noise or other neighborhood disagreement, our trained mediation volunteers help with all kinds of workplace, family or group conflicts through a variety of services:
Eldercare Mediation, which helps older people and their families listen to each other and come to agreements on difficult issues such as housing arrangements, finances and caregiving.
Group Facilitation, which helps groups such as nonprofit boards or business teams set goals and come to consensus through conflict resolution or strategic planning.
Circles Facilitation, which helps families or larger community groups resolve critical issues, build community and allow all sides to be heard.
We also promote civil discourse and respectful communication in Tucson through quality trainings in many conflict-resolution techniques, as well as free presentations on conflict, group dynamics, and understanding different conflict styles.
