Online fundraiser begins Monday
The bidding doesn't start until Monday, but already our online auction catalog is filling up with some great items: art glass and framed photographs, tickets to movies, museums, concerts and sporting events, oodles of jewelry items, haircuts and manicures, and gift certificates from restaurants all over town. And did we mention the ride-along in a Tucson Police Department helicopter?
Don't miss the fun! Visit our website starting Monday and place your bids!
It's not too late to donate an item for the auction. If you've got goods or services to donate, bring them by our offices at 3830 E. Bellevue.

What every employee needs to know
Like basic training for all levels of workers in the behavioral and social services, Our Family's C.O.R.E. (Comprehensive Orientation & Required Education) is a 27-hour course covering social issues such as homelessness, violence, addiction, domestic violence, child/elder abuse and LGBT awareness. It also includes training in communications skills, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, ethics, boundaries, confidentiality, HIPAA, suicide assessment/intervention and risk management.
The curriculum is appropriate for employees working in both for-profit and nonprofit agencies. It may be taken in entirety, or you may choose the topics you need.
The next C.O.R.E. will be held March 18 and 25, and April 1 and 8. For more information, or if you'd like to discuss possibilities for receiving this training, contact Kathy Schlitz.
