Our Family is pleased to invite you to a community forum to discuss bringing 2-1-1 to Arizona.

Valley of the Sun United Way, United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, United Way of Northern Arizona and United Way of Yuma, in partnership with Community Information & Referral, have come together to lead a statewide partnership to bring 2-1-1 Information and Referral service to Arizona.

Arizona is one of only 4 states with no 2-1-1 coverage. We are committed to bringing this service to Arizona so that anyone who seeks help will find it through 2-1-1 Arizona!

Our Family has been actively involved in the development of this statewide partnership, and continues to participate in the 2-1-1 Arizona Steering Committee.  The Committee has developed a preliminary model to implement a statewide 2-1-1 system through a sustainable, coordinated public/private partnership. This model includes a centralized call center with local participation and input to assure the system remains relevant to all areas of the state. Where local information and referral efforts exist, 2-1-1 Arizona will seek to link with those services to assure consistent, high-quality information and referral. Our Family continues to provide data-resource management for five southern Arizona counties under this model.

The Steering Committee is now seeking input from communities across Arizona. Please come learn more about the plan and provide your ideas for assuring that the 2-1-1 Arizona system is responsive to the needs of this community.
