Our Family, in collaboration with Emerge! and Wingspan, is offering a free 20-hour training on relationship violence.  The training is given over five days.  Topics include:
 
· Oppression and how it marginalizes certain groups of people, including LGBT communities
· Working in an empowerment philosophy context and challenges faced by service providers who do so

· The extent of relationship violence and its impact on the community
· Barriers faced by youth experiencing relationship violence
· Support for survivors
