ABWA and WIN -- What In It For Me? The Benefits of Membership

If you've been trying to decide whether or not to join or rejoin ABWA, and wondering how your local and national dues will benefit you as an ABWA member, this meeting is for you! Our guest speaker for the month is Debbie Shadaram, the Vice President of ABWA District VI. She will be giving us an in-depth presentation on the benefits  and advantages of ABWA membership, as well as training us in the Women's Instructional Network (WIN), the all-new business  networking site for ABWA members and chapters all over the country. At the end of the meeting, all of us will have a broader picture of the scope of ABWA as a national organization as well as the knowledge of how membership will help enhance our businesses, careers, and personal lives.

January is here and we are moving full steam ahead to create our Inspiring Women Scholarship Fundraiser. Since last year worked so well, we plan to have another raffle this year, along with a food and wine event like last year's Moxie & Marvels. Last year, we raised $10,800 for scholarships for women at the Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State, and our event was sold out! This year's venue is still to be determined by the Fundraiser committee.
