Our Monthly Raffle
Every month, our monthly raffle keeps our nonprofit organization running by earning money for the general fund. The raffle is fun and easy, and any and all raffle prizes are welcome! You could donate a product or service from your company, or it could be something else, like a plant, a bottle of wine, or a box of chocolates. We appreciate all of your contributions. They really make a huge difference to keep our organization going. Contact Audrey Gondoli to donate a raffle item for our next meeting.

Message from the President
Here Come the Holidays!
Now that the Thanksgiving feast and my post-feast coma has begun to fade away, I am reflecting on the upcoming holidays. For many of us, the current economic tide is encouraging us to become more creative with the goods and services we have to offer and how we market ourselves. We're tightening our belts, yet expanding our ingenuity and resourcefulness beyond what we ever thought was possible before. A friend of mine wished me "Happy Giving Thanks Week" last week, and I realize that I am very thankful for the opportunity to expand myself in this way. I might have stayed in a state of comfortable complacency if the economy hadn't spurred me into action. And so it is with many of us. I wish you all an abundance of imagination, courage, and prosperity this holiday season, and I look forward to seeing you next week at the Holiday Party! Webpage Challenge UpdateAt the last meeting, I announced that I was postponing the Webpage Challenge so that everyone had ample opportunity to check out their fellow members' websites. The member websites are listed in the left column of this newsletter. Please come to the January meeting ready to vote for your favorites three websites and be prepared to share something you learned about one of our members that surprised you. The top two winners get to do the three-minute member spotlights for February. See you soon! -Alicia Mutch

Next Meeting on January 20
To make room for our holiday party, we will not be having a dinner meeting in December. Instead, our next regular dinner meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 20 at the Fountaingrove Golf and Athletic Club in the clubhouse at the top of the hill. The address of the club is 1525 Fountaingrove Parkway in Santa Rosa. We will be networking from 6:30 to 7:00, and our dinner meeting begins at 7:00. All members and guests are welcome. Our guest speaker will be Ellen Daly from Daly Organizing & Consulting. The topic of her presentation is " Five Secrets to Conquering Office Clutter!" Ellen is the author of the upcoming book, Get Your Office (and your brain) Organized!
Please bring your marketing materials with you to display at the marketing table and network, network, network. Our dinner meetings are a great way to shamelessly promote your business. You can also use the monthly raffle to promote yourself. Please bring a bottle of wine with you to share with your table. Wine is also available for purchase from the club. We're collecting wine bottles for our Scholarship Fundraiser grand prize, so please bring one or two bottles of wine valued at at least $20 for the wine library. You can bring them from your wine cellar or ask wineries to donate wine. Wineries can be extremely generous and love to donate to great causes like sending incredible women to school. The price of the dinner meeting is $37.50 for members and $42.50 for guests. Reservations are required by noon on Friday, January 16. Please help us keep our costs down as a nonprofit organization by RSVPing early for yourself and your guests. You can RSVP for the dinner meeting anytime after January 1.

Scholarship Fundraiser Update
Our annual Scholarship
Fundraiser will take place on Tuesday, April 21 at the Healdsburg Bar and Grill. The event will include wine tasting, delicious food and
surprise performances designed to amaze you! A planning meeting will be
held on Tuesday, December 16th. Place and time to be determined.
Please be thinking about silent auction items that you can
contribute, guests that you can invite and bring at least two bottles
of wine valued at at least $20 for the wine raffle to the holiday party.
Last year, we raised $11,500 in scholarships for women at Sonoma State and the Santa Rosa Junior College.
Event tickets and raffle tickets will be available for sale at the January meeting. We're shooting for 100 guests - let's make this party the best
one yet! If you're interested in taking an active role in planning and preparing for this event, please contact Jen Stark.
