Dues are Due!
September is the month to pay your local dues. Local dues for the year are $60. You may pay by cash, check or credit card at our dinner meeting. And don't forget your national dues. Members of our local ABWA chapter must join the ABWA national organization and keep their national membership up to date in order to participate with the local chapter. You should receive an invoice from ABWA National for your national dues, but just in case you haven't received an invoice, you can renew your national dues by visiting www.abwa.org.

Our Monthly Raffle
Every month, our monthly raffle keeps our nonprofit organization running by earning money for the general fund. The raffle is fun and easy, and any and all raffle prizes are welcome! You could donate a product or service from your company, or it could be something else, like a plant, a bottle of wine, or a box of chocolates. We appreciate all of your contributions. They really make a huge difference to keep our organization going. Contact Audrey Gondoli to donate a raffle item for our September meeting.

Message from the President
Welcome back from our 3-month summer hiatus. Many changes have taken place over the summer. The new board has been transitioning into their positions, and we're excited about what the new year will bring to our chapter. Before leaving us as Vice President of Hospitality, Anna Smith was able to secure a dinner meeting location for us at the Fountaingrove Golf and Athlethic Club. Thank you to Marie Theilade for securing us a discounted rate with her club membership. Judith Light has been negotiating with the chef for our meal selections, and I know you'll all be pleased with the improvement of the accomodations and the amazing food. We had a planning meeting for the year on August 4th at Barbara Zimmerman's house, and discussed some goals for the year. All of us agreed that we have a wonderful core group of women and we would like to see that group expand as well as do more business with our members. I know that I have a personal goal to do as much business with each member as I possibly can before the year is up in June. How can you take advantage of the wonderful products and services this group has to offer? Our Goals for the Year:*Increase our membership to 60 members by June *Improve and enhance the Inspiring Women Scholarship Fundraiser *Support each other in business *Have fun *Expand our professional skills and give back to the community See you soon! -Alicia Mutch

Please make a note of our new meeting location. The address of the club is 1525 Fountaingrove Parkway in Santa Rosa. We will be networking from 6:30 to 7:00, and our dinner meeting begins at 7:00. Chris has a dynamic personality and presence, and has a lot of great insights to share with us. Bring your marketing materials with you to display at the marketing table. Our dinner meetings are a great way to shamelessly promote your business. You can also use the monthly raffle to promote yourself. Please bring a bottle of wine with you to share. Wine is also available for purchase from the club. Our costs have gone up this year, so the new price of the dinner meeting is $37.50 for members and $42.50 for guests. Reservations are required by noon on Friday, September 12th. The cost of the meeting if you RSVP after the deadline is $42.50 for members and $47.50 for non-members.
