Maned Wolf Bolivia's top wildlife oasis flourishes thanks to WLT-US
Something stunning is happening in the Beni savannas of Bolivia. Species long absent are returning and thriving in a 12,300 acre refuge that WLT-US helped buy and save. Established to protect one of the last flocks of the Critically Endangered Blue-throated Macaw, protection has also led to a resurgence of wildlife, including predators like Jaguar, Maned Wolf, and Giant Anteater. Ride for the Trees 10,000 mile bike ride benefits Atlantic Rainforest
To help save threatened Atlantic rainforest in Paraguay, former Peace Corps volunteer Samuel Hagler set out on an epic journey, spanning 13 countries and more than 10,000 miles. In the end, his journey, along with key support from WLT-US and others led to the protection of a 678 acre rainforest property for our partner in Paraguay and local indigenous communities. Read more.
