Matching appeal to save Las Tangaras rainforest
Two of WLT-US's generous donors have teamed up to help save the threatened Las Tangaras Rainforest in northwestern Colombia. Robert Giles and Frank Kling have agreed to match all donations for this urgent appeal until December 31st. This highly-threatened rainforest is the site of the recent discovery of three new amphibian species, and home to indigenous Embera communities. Read more.

Inupiaq Eskimo students save rainforest with WLT-US
Many of the students of the Nunachiam Sissauni School in Alaska's Northwest Arctic have never even seen a tree in their lives, but that isn't stopping them from doing their part to save a threatened forest. Students from the isolated village of Buckland raised funds to buy and save 26 acres of tropical rainforest - making a difference for biodiversity and indigenous communities. You can help too!
