We helped our Bolivian partner Armonía to purchase 8,785 acres to establish the first protected area for the critically endangered Blue-throated Macaw, thanks to your support. Jocotoco Antpitta chick Jocotoco Antpitta nest discovered 
Our partner Fundación Jocotoco has just discovered the first ever nest of the endangered Jocotoco Antpitta - an extraordinary bird restricted to the cloud forests of Tapichalaca Nature Reserve in Ecuador. This photo shows the chick huddled in the nest amongst bromeliads and orchids. View project.
CaatingaCritical Brazilian ecosystem protected
WLT-US is supporting our partner Associação Plantas do Nordeste to purchase and protect 8,650 acres of arid caatinga, located in northeast Brazil. This reserve represents one of the largest protected areas in the entire caatinga biome and prvides a safe haven for its endemic flora and fauna.
