Jaguar - paujil Urgent Colombian rainforest appeal
Threatened by logging and packed with some of the planet's rarest rainforest species, WLT-US is urgently seeking support to buy and protect 8,763 acres of critical lowland rainforest habitat in the heart of Colombia. REGUA Spider Monkey Brazilian Atlantic forest refuge protected
We are helping protect one of the most important Brazilian Atlantic rainforests remaining in Rio state. We are delighted to report that your support has acquired additional properties, which strengthens the REGUA reserve and protects many threatened species, such as the Wooly Spider Monkey. Fundación EcoMinga frogs Three new species of frog discovered
Researchers surveying in and around recently acquired properties by WLT-US partner Fundación EcoMinga in Ecuador have discovered three species of frogs that are considered new for science!  Your support to protect these forests is clearly extremely important. See more.
Orchid at Zunac Cloud forests protected in Ecuador 
WLT-US supported Fundación EcoMinga with an additional acquisition of 124 acres for their Rio Zuñac reserve - a global hotspot of orchid diversity. Also in Ecuador, we supported Napo Andean Forest Foundation to buy 494 acres in the Cosanga valley to protect spectacular Andean cloud forests. View project profiles.
