Get Your RAP Going
What do I say? How do I say it? You want your Inner Mind to send you the good stuff: motivation, inspiration, energy, strength and more. This is the stuff that gets you to your goals. That makes a day wonderful. First step is to learn how to RAP which is a combination of positive suggestions, statements and anti-suggestions.
POSITIVE SUGGESTIONS 1. Make it personal: I, my business, my arm muscles. I can run a 6 minute mile. My business sells 200 widgets today.
2. Use the present tense I get an 'A' on my Math test.
3. Make it clear, emotional and simple. I complete my workout. I love working out.
4. Use the word 'can' often until you start believing it. I can get an 'A' on my Math test.
STATEMENTS Truths that you want your Inner Mind to know. Your conscious mind may know that but your Inner Mind may not.
Studying increases my chances of getting an 'A'. Exercise helps me get stronger. Driving the speed limit is safer. Being nice to customers increases sales.
BUILD A RAP Start by putting 4 to 6 lines of Suggestions + Statements + Anti-Suggestions (next week) and lastly your goal. Here is one for a business I earn $xxxx this week. I love earning $xxxx this week. Promoting myself help me earn more. I love promoting myself. I help people using hypnosis.
HOW TO USE The purpose of a RAP is to put in positives and get motivation. You can say it at any time. You can change it on the spot. It's best to start one and do it for awhile then you can ad lib.
You can use peace or strong self hypnosis. You can say them when you are tired or running out of steam. When tempted they work great.
EXERCISE Make a RAP for your goal, work, whatever you are working on.
