Use either peace or strong self hypnosis then add a program.

   How To Talk To Your Inner Mind


Some people may think talking to yourself is silly. However it's a very powerful way for your Conscious Mind to give directions to your Inner Mind. The Conscious Mind (you) needs to tell the Inner Mind what you want and where to go. Last week we talk about Positive Suggestions. This week Statements.

Statements
These are truths that you want your Inner Mind to know. Your Conscious Mind may know them but your Inner Mind may not.

EXAMPLES
Studying increases my chances of getting an 'A'.
Exercise helps me reduce my weight faster.
Bench presses strengthen my chest muscles.
The purpose of eating is to nourish my body.
By eating less my belly gets smaller and smaller.
Driving the speed limits is safer.
Being nice to customers increases sales.

The above Statements are you giving directions to your Inner Mind. You want an 'A' in Math. So you tell yourself that studying increases your chance of getting an 'A' which is true. Since it is true the Inner Mind accepts it faster.

EXERCISE
Make up a list of statements for different areas of your life. Usually one or two statements are good per area. Then start saying them.

Soon we are going to put positive suggestions, statements and anti-suggestions together into one PEP Talk.

Start with strong self hypnosis.

Now daydream about reaching your goal or anything else you want to happen.


Weight Reduction Tip    

 

Body Awareness
Become more aware of your body. After a shower look at your body. Look at how big your belly is. Rub your belly. Say this statement: By eating less my belly will get smaller and smaller.
