How To Talk To Yourself

Well how do you talk to your Inner Mind to get the results you want? The Inner Mind needs direction. The Conscious mind (you) needs to tell the Inner Mind what you want and where to go. Here are some suggestions. This week we will start with positive suggestions. Next week Statements.
Positives Suggestions What do I say? How do I say it? You want your Inner Mind to send you the good stuff: inspiration, energy, insight, determination and strength. This is the stuff that gets you to your goals. That make a day wonderful. First step is to learn how to talk to yourself.
Make it personal. I, my business, my arm muscles. No: You can run a 6 minute mile. Yes: I can run a 6 minute mile. Yes: My arm muscles grow big and strong. Yes: My business sells 200 widgets today.
Use the present tense. No: I will get an A on my Physics exam. Yes: I get an A on my Physics exam.
Use positive terms. No: I can't finish writing this book. Yes: I can finish writing this book.
Make it clear and simple. Use the word 'can' often. I can get an 'A' on my exam when you have doubts. Use emotional terms. I love getting an 'A' on my exam.
EXERCISE Make up a list of positive suggestions for your goals, for work, for school, for gym, for home. Say them during your day.
