Greetings!

Violet and I had so much fun this last weekend for Earth DViolet & Rose at Earth Dayay

We live in the little mountain community of Topanga Canyon, and we have a ROCKIN' Earth Day festival. I love living in an area that's all about community and living holistically.

Violet was quite a hit in her little green tutu. :) A special thank you to Danielle Carr, the designer behind Teddy's Tiny Tutus

I hope you too had a gorgeous weekend filled with fun, laughter, and celebration of divine mother earth.

In love and service,

Rose

P.S. Be sure to check out the Wellness With Rose facebook fan page for more fun pictures from our Earth Day festival. Much love!

5 Tips To Save Money While Eating Healthy

1. Eat Seasonally

Eating foods in season is key. Do n't eat app  le s in the summer or  strawberries in the winter. But when blueberries are $1.00 a pint come August, stuff your face and freeze the rest so  you can eat them at that price all year long.

2. Cook More At Home
I think it's a sad reflection on our culture that so many people rely on fast food for their daily sustenance, and my heart goes out to those who truly cannot afford better. But I believe that many of the bad food decisions we make each day are more an issue of (perceived) convenience rather than price. Eating out is expensive, no matter which way you cut it.

3. Grow Your Own
Another great way to save money is to grow your own. Whether it's in the ground, in a pot, a raised bed, or a community garden, home-grown food is as low-cost as it gets and as healthy as it comes. Even a small plot can produce a big bounty. Build meals around whatever is ripe at the moment, freeze the excess, and you'll save a bundle.
And there's something magical about eating food you've grown yourself.

4. Shop Farmers MarketsRose picking citrus
In my experience the best organic produce in a chain grocery store is at Whole Foods. But if you've ever been shopping there you know what a dent it can put in your wallet (however, this does not apply to their non-fresh items, which I've found are competitively priced and often cheaper than other stores). Rather than handing over your Whole Paycheck or settling for less organic options at Safeway, do your weekly produce shopping at your local farmers market.

5. Think Long Term
Our cultural tendencies may incline us toward cheap, greasy foods but you should consider what you're really paying for in the long run. A poor diet can be attributed to most cases of heart disease, stroke, diabetes,  cancer and a generally difficult, painful life. And I probably don't need to convince you that a fresh salad costs less than a hospital bill and a lifetime of medications. Think about this... healthy eating doesn't have to be expensive, but unhealthy eating can cost you your life.

Good Job Vanessa Pannikote!

We LOVE getting inspirational letters like this one thVanessa Pannikoteat we got recently from Vanessa:

"Rose my life is unrecognisable!  Connecting with you has been the greatest catalyst for change EVER.  The

 High Priestess Training &  Audios

were the single most significant thing I've done for my personal development, and the gateway for me to enter your

amazing Powerful Woman Powwow program.

I've done pretty much all the  personal development courses out there, but it was this course that catapulted me into a stratosphere I could have only dreamt about.

My business is fantastic, and I'm now living my dream. I'm an International Personal Branding Expert, traveling the world

and helping my clients create these amazing conscious personal brands that are based on the truest most authentic essence of themselves.  The way I do business has completely changed.  I'm now coming from this deep feminine power, which has truly made me a High Priestess.

I could not be happier and I truly cannot recognise myself or my life.  I am grateful to the moon and back for your love, support and for holding my soul  to the highest standard.  When you meet a soul you were meant to meet, its the most beautiful recognition, and from that flows the truest and most authentic transformation. Thank you!"
