Greetings!
This was the first Thanksgiving that I've ever hosting, and it was so lovely. We have LOTS to be thankful for. Everything turned out perfectly, except for my new pumpkin pie recipe, which my husband confided in my last night was "gross" and "tasted like healthy mush". Lol! I was wondering why we had one and a half pumpkin pies left. Can't win em all I guess. Back to the drawing board on that one. I hope your holiday was magical and blessed... and that you didn't mess up pumpkin pies! :) In love & Service, ~Rose

Somethings are just too good NOT to share. If you're in a relationship, you'll want to keep reading. If you've ever been triggered or overcome with anger, you'll want to keep reading.
Below is an email that I received from my amazing relationship coach, Annie Lalla.

Rosie love,
Thanks for being open to the intensity of last night's call. I appreciated your candor and frustrations. There's some things I want you to practice, even when you're in a slightly angry state. My theory is that once you're upset, triggered, in 'survival' mode...you lose your connection to your timeline (past, present, future). And the neg. state you are in 'now' feels like it extends all the way backwards and forwards to infinity, as if it's always been, will always be this way. During depression, people often experience this: their current reality feels like it's the truth forever, backwards & forwards. They can't see their state as ephemeral or fleeting. And it becomes scary & intolerable. I suspect you go through a mini-version of this when you are triggered or upset. And the solution is to gain access to the fact that this state is temporary and ALWAYS followed by something better. All forms of depression get entrenched by the (false) belief that things won't change. But they do, change is inevitable, so long as you stay in the game. Ok, here are 2 exercises I want you to remember when you get upset:
1) See your neg. state/event/situation on a timeline. Look backwards and remember that your past has many examples of you experiencing joy, happiness, being understood, loved up, supported by Nat etc. Climb into those experiences and feel them as real in your body, now.
Now look out into the future and see it filled with similar loving situations, extrapolated from the past. Notice how what's going on now is only a temp blip on a vast timeline. Then climb into an imagined future situation, where you and Nat are connecting in a mutually empowering space and observe in your body what it feels like. Pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, posture, breathing. Feel what it feels like to know for sure that he's the one for you. Take inventory of the 'gestalt' of that state and anchor it to a snapshot image. Then look back from that future to this moment (now, in the past). Notice how the 'issue' looks different from that happy future state -smaller, easier, negligible. This should help dissolve your anger & re-presence your optimism, hence generate your love.
