Greetings!
It's finally done!
I have been working on a Wellness With Rose Cookbook
for probably a year now, and have been having so much fun developing
my QUICK and EASY Gluten-free,
Dairy-free, and sugar-free recipes for my new cookbook.
It's filled with tons of recipes for main dishes,
soups, salads, dressings, side dishes, beverages, snacks, and even yummy
desserts!
I have *never* been a great cook, but I've been teaching myself to cook, and if I
can cook, ANYONE can cook!
In love and service,
~Rose

"Hidden Weight Loss & Energy
Sabotager"
Did you know that MOST
of the US
population has a food
sensitivities to wheat and gluten
and they don't even know it?
Food allergies are much more common than most people realize. Millions of
adults and children suffer from allergic reactions to food and do not know it
because the symptoms can be hard to diagnose.
It's easy to know if you have a peanut or shellfish allergy that sends you
to the emergency room every time you eat it... your body is clearly telling
you that you should NOT eat these foods.
But more common allergies are really more like "food sensitivities"
and because the symptoms are can range anywhere from bloating, poor
digestion, headaches, food cravings, sinus problems, acne, lethargy,
depression and weight gain, most people don't think it's caused by the food
they've been eating for their entire lives... they just think, "There
must be something wrong with me." So they blame it on their slow
metabolism or their bad genetics and they just live with it.
I speak from experience, that if you can recognize the foods that you are
allergic to and eliminate them from your diet, then you will feel SO much
better and you will be able to lose weight effortlessly. (I have
one client that lost over 80 pounds without exercising just by cutting
out wheat alone!)
The top four culprits are:
# 1. Gluten (the part of wheat that triggers our immune system)
# 2. Dairy
# 3.
Soy
# 4.
Eggs
The best thing to do it cut out the two most
prevalent - Gluten and dairy, for 3 weeks. You won't believe how great
you feel, and how quickly you lose weight!
Be sure to check out my new dairy-free, gluten-free, and sugar
free cookbook below.

Recipe of the Week

SOAKED ALMONDS
Ingredients Organic Raw Almonds (make sure they are really raw, not "heat treated") Filtered Water Ziploc Bag or plastic container Fun Optional Add-ins 3-4 drops liquid Stevia, which comes in lots of flavors (or 1-2 packets of powder) Celtic sea salt to taste Dash cinnamon Dash or two of Italian herbs
Directions Drop a handful or two of the almonds into a Ziploc baggie, then cover with filtered water. If you like, you can add a couple of drops of Stevia to the water or any of the other optional add-ins.
Allow them to soak overnight, or about 8 hours in the fridge if possible. After 8 hours, you can rinse and drain water if desired. That's it. Seriously!
By morning, the almonds will be plumped, and the acid in the coating of the almond with have been soaked off, and they are ready for you to munch on. The coating on almonds is an enzyme inhibitor, so it makes them difficult for your stomach to break down, so this is a perfect way to get more energy out of the nuts, and make them easier to digest.
TIP: Just make what you want for the following day. They can last about 1 day outside of the fridge, or 2-3 days in the fridge. |
