Ever wonder what you would look like as an avatar?!

Have you ever heard of the virtual world VZones?  It's an online community where people gather, and interact in a completely virtual world online. 

This is my avatar from a recent class I did completely virtually in this world. They even had an auditorium setup for me to speak in.

I gotta tell you, the detail of this other world kind of blew me away!  It was a great time, and I got really great feedback from the people that attended that they learned a lot about how to lose the last 10-20pounds, and increase their energy... my specialties!

They've asked me to come back and speak again, so I'll see if I can get everyone passes to some and check it out next time.

Seems like everyone I know would love to lose some weight and de-stress all-naturally, but it doesn't seem like there is a good way to do that without tons of willpower.

Even though that's the school of thought going 'round right now, it isn't accurate.

Recipe of the Week
Sweet Almond Milk Almond Milk

Ingredients:
1 c dry almonds
5 c filtered water
Sweetener: (choose 1)  
   1-2 Tbs Raw honey  
   1/4 tsp Stevia  
3 dates, pitted                   

Directions:
1.  Soak nuts overnight; drain and let sit in colander for 1-3 hours.
2.  Combine 1/2 c almonds and sweetener, and blend in food processor or blender.
3.  Add 3 c water and blend.
4.  Strain milk in a strainer or cheese cloth.
5.  Repeat steps 2 through 4 with remaining almonds and water.

HELPFUL HINTS: This milk is great for kids of all ages! It can be added to dressings, soups, smoothies, desserts and cereals, or make milk shakes with frozen bananas, a little carob powder or raw cacoa powder, and almond milk.

Laura KleinHomemade Eco-Friendly Sudsing Scrub

One of the keys to staying healthy and trim is to remove the toxic chemicals from our homes. It doesn't have to cost a lot to go green!
 
Materials Needed:
½ cup baking soda
Plant-based liquid soap (like Dr. Bronner's)
8-10 drops of favorite essential oil

How To:
Pour baking soda into a reused glass container. Add enough liquid soap to cover the baking soda. Sprinkle in the essential oils. Stir to combine until completely smooth.
Place about a tablespoon of the mixture onto a clean cloth. Add a little water and you're ready to clean anything that needs a little soft scrubbing action. If needed, follow with a damp cloth to wipe away any residue.

Green Goodness Tip:
To make large batches, use a recycled glass or plastic bottle and add a few drops of vegetable glycerin. Derived from plant oils, vegetable glycerin will help the mixture retain its moisture.

Use on: Sinks, countertops, bathtubs, stainless steel appliances, pots & pans.
