HEALTHY KIDS DAY | | |
 Summer is a time of active play and exploration for kids. But for some kids, exposure to activities that stimulate the body and mind ends with the school year. In fact, research shows that kids are more prone to gain weight and fall behind in studies over the summer months.
As part of the Y's commitment to strengthen community by addressing critical gaps in health and education, Healthy Kids DayŽ will encourage kids and parents to commit to keeping the body and mind active this summer.
On April 28, 2012, join the Y and more than half-a-million parents and kids across the country as we commit to Take on Summer. With 1,900 Ys hosting free Healthy Kids Day events across the country, it's never been a better time to get up, get out and grow.

| DIABETES WORKSHOP | | |
An inspiring course, designed by the American Diabetes Association. The program is ideal for anyone interested in educating themselves or loved ones about the disease. Each weekly meeting emphasizes various factors related to Diabetes including: heart health, nutrition, medications, and emotional well-being. Enrollment in the program includes a pass to use the YMCA Wellness Center after class and on your own. Start today! It's never too late to begin living empowered.
