SPRING SOCCER

Youth Super Sports-trained coaches focus on fundamental skills, good sportsmanship, fitness skills, and character development.  Fitness concepts include wellness for the heart, lungs, and muscles, safe play, flexibility, and healthy eating.  Rookies through Winners Levels progress by developing individual skills and adding more skills and rules.

 

Fee: $55

Ages: 4-15

Location: Thomas Hunter Middle School Fields

Early Bird Registration: 2/1-2/18

Late Fee Registration: 2/20-2/25 ($65)

Practices Begin: 2/27

Games: 3/10-5/5

 

ADULT VOLLEYBALL

Come out and join us on Wednesday evening for some adult sportsmanship!

Date: Wednesdays, beginning Feb.15

Time: 7-9

Location: Boys & Girls Club

Cost: $35 for 8 weeks

YOGA RETREAT

Begin the day practicing yoga in a spectacular indoor studio that opens onto large oak trees and the East River.  After a brief intermission and walk around the grounds, tone your core, and bring balance to your spine with an uplifting Pilates mat class. A nourishing lunch will be served and the day will close with some restorative yoga postures.

 

Date: Saturday, February 25 9am-2pm

Fee: Members $8, Non-members $14

CAMP KEKOKA
sailingGive your son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter the summer of a lifetime!  YMCA Camp Kekoka is the Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA's resident camp serving boys & girls ages 8-15. 

Camp Kekoka has something for everyone! Tubing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, archery, drama, cooking, garden, arts & crafts, cabin time, and so much more!  All of this in a safe and nurturing environment.  Campers walk away a little more independent and self-assured.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Join the Mathews Family YMCA in supporting Hands Across Mathews.  Drop off canned soups and stews here at the Y.  We will donate all canned goods to Hands Across Mathews to help them prevent hunger and meet the growing demand of Mathews' families.

Goal: 75 cans of soup or stew

TEEN LEADERS' CLUB

Leaders' Club is organized for the purpose of providing each member with the knowledge and training to help serve others while shaping a healthy lifestyle for themselves.
