 SPRING SOCCEREXCITING

YMCA Youth Super Sports is the YMCA's new progressive youth sports program that combines the marvelous philosophy of past YMCA  sports programs with new program concepts. Open to all children ages 4-15. Participants will learn the basics of soccer and team sports. Drills, skills and lead up games will be the focus of practices. Saturdays will focus on trying out these new skills through league games. Some age groups will travel to surrounding communities and YCMA's. The YMCA Soccer Program gives every child the opportunity to play and learn through athletic endeavors that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Volunteers are essential to the success of this program. We are looking for coaches, assistant coaches, referees, and team parents.

Registration is now open.
Weekday practices begin February 28.
Games run March 12 through April 30.
Fee is $55. $10 late charge after the 19th.

CHILD WATCH INTEREST ITS

Many Y's offer Child Watch services

to members while they workout.

While we are not currently able to

offer this service, we are exploring

alternatives.  What we need to know

from you is:

  1. Would you utilize the service  if we offer it?
  2. If so, how many days a week would you utilize Child Watch?  What hours?
  3. Would you be ok with having your child in one location while you are working out in another location?

Rest assured that whatever arrangement the Y works out, we will provide an environment that is safe and engaging.)

In advance, thanks for responding to this survey in writing by sending an email to:  sheila.pillath@peninsulaymca.org.  Please also feel free to forward this survey to your friends, family and co-workers who are not currently Y members but would consider joining if we offered Child Watch services.
