Come to our Birthday Bash Open House

Mathews Family YMCA is celebrating it's 8th year of serving you. Usually it's the person having the party who gets the gifts but this year we want to give to others.

Join us for our Birthday Bash:
  • Friday, February 6th
  • 8:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

Invite your friends, co-workers, and associates to workout for FREE during the open house; our gift to the wonderful community of Mathews.

Spring Soccer

Every child gets the opportunity to play and learn through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body at the YMCA.
Participants will learn the basics of soccer and teamwork. Drills, skills and lead-up games will be the focus of practices. Every Saturday these skills will be used in league games. Some age groups will travel to surrounding communities and other YMCAs.

Weekday soccer practices begin the week of February 22. Games will be played on Saturdays starting March 13 and the season will end May 15. The cost of the program is $45 per child.

Soccer Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are essential to the success of the soccer program.  Coaches, referees, and team parents are needed for all age divisions. Please contact Brandon Gibbs at 725-1488 or Brandon.Gibbs@peninsulaymca.org to volunteer your time.
