The Gold Leaf Awards is an annual awards ceremony and dinner recognizing excellence in the field of healthcare communication.

The Foundation strives to provide comprehensive

As we come to the close of 2009, the American Transplant Foundation continues to forge ahead on its mission to reduce the number of men, women, and children waiting for a lifesaving transplant. In this newsletter, we're excited to reveal Colorado's newest license plate, to relate news from the national On the List book tour, and to unveil our new resource guide on living donation.

Colorado's Newest License Plate
Donate Life specialty license plates will be available beginning January 1, 2010
 
Colorado's new Donate Life license platesWe're pleased to reveal Colorado's new Donate Life license plate, a project accomplished by the Foundation this year! These plates will be available for purchase beginning January 1, 2010 and will help raise vital awareness for organ and tissue donation. We hope to see the plates all over the state by the end of 2010!
 
On the List National Book Tour
The Foundation tours the country with co-authors Steve Farber and Harlan Abrahams
 
On the List Party in L.A.The Foundation celebrated the release of new book On the List, written by board members Steve Farber and Harlan Abrahams, with a Denver launch party on October 2nd. Since then, the Foundation has joined the book tour in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles to promote both living and deceased donation. We were proud to receive the support of several government officials in D.C. and celebrities in L.A., including fashion critic Steven Cojocaru and musician Natalie Cole, both kidney recipients.
