Agenda Announced for the Airport Security Coordinator School
The American Association of Airport Executives Airport Security Coordinator Training School will be held June 21, 2012, in Minneapolis, MN. This school meets the requirements outlined in TSR Part 1542. By attending the Airport Security Coordinator Training School, an ASC will learn the latest information available from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), in addition to tools that can make an airport function safely and efficiently.
Title 49 CFR Part 1542 requires that an Airport Security Coordinator and a designated alternate attend ASC training (TSR 1542.3).
Topics for the workshop will include:
- Enforcement, SSI, and the General Rules of Aviation Security
- The Airport Security Coordinator and Airport Security Program
- Security Areas and Access Control
- Law Enforcement Operations, Contingency Plans and Incident Management
- Terrorist-related issues

The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and Aviation Management Consulting Group (AMCG) are pleased to present the Sponsor Assurances, Leasing Policies and Minimum Standards Workshop being held June 26-27, 2012, in Reno, Nevada.
The Sponsor Assurances, Leasing Policies and Minimum Standards Workshop is a dynamic and interactive workshop which will take a best practices approach to the development or updating, implementation and enforcement of a number of critical airport policy documents, including general aviation leasing policies, minimum standards, and rules and regulations. These documents play a vital role in the day-to-day operation and management of an airport.
