Motivational Leadership Workshop

Our world has changed.  Thirty years ago, companies were hiring managers and they were hiring leaders, but they were not necessarily the same people.  Today, every manager is expected to not only to be an effective leader but also a coach and a mentor.  Most of us are comfortable on one side or the other in the leadership/management balance.
It is important to examine the balance between what we are doing today vs. what we are leading others to do.  The way we see others and the assumptions we make about people and the world around us shape our reality and the environment in which we work.

After completing this workshop, you will be able to identify the roles and responsibilities of a successful leader and realize that our opinions and ideas about leading others shape the environment in which we work.
You will take away principles that build trust with others and you will be able to identify opportunities to recognize and develop the human potential in your organization.

You'll learn:
1) Management & Leadership - differences and overlaps
2) The five drivers of success
3) Leadership perspectives
4) Value based leadership
5) Nine Principles to enhance relationships and build trust
6) Difference between motivation and manipulation
7) Five fundamental levels of motivation
8) Nine steps to an "inner-view" of your team

Chamber of Commerce City/County Map
mapGood afternoon Chamber Members,

My name is Ken Engle and I would like to introduce myself.  I am a junior, pre-dental, Biology major and Chemistry/Spanish double minor at Wabash College in Crawfordsville.  I was selected as a Cass County Community Lilly Scholar in the spring of 2006, and I am from Walton.  I graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 2006.  At Wabash, I am the academic chairman of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity as well as a member of the Alpha Phi Omega Service fraternity.

This summer I am working with Harry Rodkey, Modern Graphics, to produce the new Logansport & Cass County map for the Logansport/Cass County Chamber of Commerce.  I will be calling on Chamber Members to give them the opportunity to purchase advertisements for the city/county map.  The sought after maps will be placed at the Chamber office, City Hall, and various other places of interest in the community for local people and visitors.

If you would be interested in placing an advertisment on the map, please call my cell phone (765) 210-6822, or email [email protected] You may also call Teresa at the Chamber office, (574) 753-6388 or email [email protected] and she will forward your message to me.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to working with you!
