We hope you're having a wonderful summer!
We've been having a great time playing outdoor shows and working up quite a sweat. For those particularly hot events, we've created our own mist-er, taking turns spraying the crowd and each other when the weather proves melty.

Club Med Crazy Signs Contest!

In the ongoing celebration of Mini Club Med's 40th Birthday, the good folks at Club Med have created an exciting contest we hope you'll enter. If you win, you and your family will enjoy a free trip to Club Med. All you have to do is click the link and watch the video to learn all about it. Then, download the Milkshake song "Dance in the Sun" or email us your mailing address and we'll send along a special CD (while supplies last). When you feel the inspriation, have fun creating a dance video to the new Milkshake song. Mom and Dad can help by filming it and sending it to Club Med. Try something summery, like dancing on the beach, or by a pool. Needless to say, we hope all our younger fans enter, since we'd love to see a Milkshake family win! Contest ends September 15th. |

The Milkshake Band will be doing a special pre-game concert at Prince George's Stadium, home of the Bowie Baysox, on August 16th at 5:15 PM. Tickets are $10, and include the concert, a game between the Bowie Baysox and Binghamton Mets, and a spectacular fireworks show after the game. For a wonderful read on the pre-school entertainment industry, parents might want to pick up Dade Hayes' book Anytime Playdate. An extensive interview with Milkshake is featured in Chapter 10, Live Acts. The book is found on Amazon or your local library or book store. In other literary news, Lisa was interviewed by Jodie Andrefski, a fan and writer for the website MyLifeStory.com. It's an interesting website full of stories from and about people the world over.
