Church Family,
What an incredible summer we are experiencing in the life of our church. God blessed us with an amazing week at Student Life Camp, and we witnessed Him working in the lives of those 87 students and volunteers from our church. I had the wonderful blessing of baptizing eight students our first Sunday back and will baptize at least four more in the weeks ahead. If you missed being here that Sunday and would like to see any of our baptisms or Sunday services, you can visit our website and view any of the archived videos. Be sure that you also check in frequently for updates on the Women of Faith Conference, Preteen Camp, VBS, local mission projects, and so much more. Also if you plan to be gone over a weekend, let me encourage you to visit the streaming page on our website. It goes "live" every Sunday at 10:45 a.m.
In just a few days I will be traveling with a team of students and adults on a mission trip to Honduras. Our trip coordinators, Christi and Justin Evans, have prepared a daily prayer guide, and we would truly appreciate it if you would print it out and pray for us.
Honduras Mission Team Prayer Guide
Your prayers are needed as our team travels to Tegucigalpa, Honduras July 10th-17th for our mission trip with Hope for Honduras. Below is a daily prayer guide we would like you to keep and help us by praying for our week.
~Sun 7-10: Travel Day! Pray for our hearts to be prepared for what awaits us in Honduras, for our flight, for our luggage to arrive safely with us, for our families to be safe while we are away from them, and for the missionaries in Honduras Ron and Shelley to be renewed and ready for our team.
~Mon 7-11: Today we start building a house for Rene & his family. We ask you to pray for the construction process. Also, pray for our mission team to bond and work well together and for the work of the day to go smoothly, for God's children in Honduras that we meet to experience the love Christ has for them. Twice a day our team will help in the Bible kinder class and with Bible-based crafts for the children. Pray that through us they learn about Jesus' love for them.
~Tues 7-12: Every morning we will have the privilege to walk the streets of Mogote and feed the children breakfast and vitamins. Pray for the food to sustain them since it is the only meal some of them will get that day. Pray we reach those children that need nourishment and that we show them Christ's love.
~Wed 7-13: Today we have a women's class we will join as Pastor Antonio teaches from the Bible. Please pray these women will understand the Word of God and live according to God's will for their lives.
~Thurs 7-14: During the week we have been bagging beans, rice, and corn to hand out to 350 families. Pray for our strength today, as it is a long trek to deliver all this food. Pray that God will touch our hearts and renew us by the smiles on these families' faces. Pray the people will seek to know why our God is so great that He would send us down to their country to bless them with food.
~Fri 7-15: Today we dedicate the house to the family. Team members will present Rene and his family with a Bible, bread, water, a plant, and keys to their new house. Pray this family understands that their house is a gift from God.
~Sat 7-16: We spend our last morning in Mogote and enjoy a soccer game with the league that Ron & Shelley have formed. It is difficult to leave the soccer fields because it is the last time we see them until we make a return trip to Honduras. Pray that the players stay safe and that God is glorified as we fellowship with the children of Honduras one more time.
~Sun 7-17: Pray for our safe travel as we fly home at noon with our luggage intact. Pray for missionaries Ron & Shelley on the journey with their next mission team that will arrive on the plane we will leave on.
Thank you for participating in this mission by being devoted to praying for us.

Women of Faith Conference
| "God loves us more than we know. He gives us more than we can ask or dream. He's unrestrained... excessive... outrageous... Over the Top." Join the women at Fellowship of Montgomery as we go on a weekend retreat to San Antonio, Texas, October 21-22. We will study the word of God, hear from some exceptional speakers, worship together with some talented worship leaders and artists, and grow closer as a group of women. If you are interested, please email Kim Talbert at kim.talbert@texhomeland.com or talk to Kim in the foyer after church about more details. |
| Life Groups |
Life Groups are not simply a Bible study, they are so much more. At Life Group meetings, we hang out, get to know each other, worship God, study His Word, and then we DO his work! At Fellowship of Montgomery, we are doers of God's Word and not just hearers. So, join a Life Group today. For more information on how to become involved please email our Connection Pastor, John Yeates at john@fellowshipofmontgomery.net, or you can find out more on our website. |

Beach Camp Re-Cap We had an amazing time at Beach Camp this year. Not only did we have fun on the beach winning volleyball and dodge ball tournaments, playing lazer tag, and putt-putt, but lives were dramatically changed and spiritual growth happened. We were able to see 8 students accept the Lord as their Savior, and several students re-dedicated their life to the Lord. We were also blessed to see 8 students baptized on the Sunday we came back, and we have scheduled several more baptisms this summer.
Now the challenge for our students is to continue the growth and the encounter they had with God back at home. I challenge you to be in prayer for our students as they daily seek the Lord and apply the meaningful messages at camp to their everyday life. I look forward to what God will do in our students the rest of the summer, and I also look forward to next years camp: MOUNTAIN CAMP!
Wednesday Nights in the Summer
This summer, we have many activities and fun packed Wednesdays. We will be alternating each week between FM Xtreme and FM Cribs.
In FM Xtreme, we will come to the church on Wednesday nights for athletic competitions ranging from kickball to dodgeball to ultimate frisbee.
The weeks that we have FM Cribs we will be at different homes swimming, hanging out, eating, and fellowshipping. Maps to those homes will be found on our website fellowshipofmontgomery.net under the students tab.

Each week, we will have time set aside for a devotional or object lesson, and we will also have some guest students and adults speak throughout the course of the summer. Come get involved on Wednesday nights. It is a relaxed environment where we have pizza, play games, go swimming, and dive into the Word of God. We hope to see you there at 6:30! God Bless.
Astros Game/David Crowder Concert
We are going to the Astros Game at 4:00p on Saturday, July 16th. After the game there will be a David Crowder Band Concert. The cost for our field box seats and the concert is $25. We have only a few spots left, so if your student would like to go please email Brian Roberson at brian@fellowshipofmontgomery.net.

For the following weeks we will continue this series that will take us on a kid-led journey with actual real life students, Marcus and Connor. We will examine four significant questions about worship. Who worships? What's Worship? How's Worship? And Why Worship? Each week will take us a little deeper into our understanding of worship and how it relates to our lives. On Wednesday evenings, starting at 6:30, Andy Van and Marissa Scholl would enjoy having you for fun, food, games, and a continual study into God's Word and its application for everyday life.
