From the Pastor

Monty Lane Allen

Church Family,

I am so excited about what the Lord is doing in our church and in the lives of individuals.  During the month of April, you will see us, on two separate occasions, baptizing adults and students.  Some have recently come to know Jesus as their Savior while others are now making publicly known the commitment they made to Jesus some time ago.  We are blessed to witness the work of God, and we join the angels in Heaven in celebrating the goodness of our great God and Savior.

Our membership class at the end of March was a tremendous blessing as well.  The staff and I enjoyed the opportunity to share with 63 new members the vision and the ministries God is leading us in.  Just to be able to visit with individuals about their interests, their families, and simply to discover where they are in their spiritual journey was an incredible experience for me personally.

As you look at the information at the top of this column, you will see the details regarding our 2011 Easter Celebration.  I thank the Lord for the opportunity we will have on that day to be lead in worship by Monty Lane Allen.  Monty is a Christian family man who makes his living as a singer and songwriter in Nashville.  For several years now, Monty has been a guitar player and vocalist touring with country music recording artist, Alan Jackson.

I would ask you on Sunday, April 24, to attend the 9:00 a.m. service which we will be adding to our schedule.  This will allow us to make more space for our guests that will be attending our 10:45 a.m. service.  This will also allow you to worship at one service and serve at the other.

Don't forget to invite your friends and family to join you at church this Sunday.  You'll both be eternally thankful that you did.

May the Lord bless you,

Pastor Dale
