Wednesday Nights
On Wednesday nights our student ministry starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs until approximately 8:00 p.m.  All 7th-12th grade students are invited to join us for Bible study, pizza, worship, and games.  Also be sure to Invite your friends to come and check us out on Wednesday nights as well.

This month we are starting "Story Time With Brian."  We will be looking at some fun, inspirational, Christmas classics, and we will Biblically find the true meaning of Christmas.  Invite some friends as we have different Christmas traditions each week.

Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Wednesday, December 15th, will be our final Wednesday meeting time for the year.  Because of this, we will be meeting at The Grand in Conroe  to watch C.S Lewis' classic tale, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  Join us as we have fun watching this movie together!

FM Student Ministries Christmas Parties
We are having a white elephant Christmas party for both the Junior High and High School this year.  The Junior High Party will be on Friday, December 17th at the Tunning's.  The High School Party will be on Saturday, December 18th at the Lemon's (pending Varsity Football State Championship).  We will exchange gifts, play games, eat food, and watch Christmas movies.  The parties are from 6p-9p, and we would ask you to bring a dessert and white elephant gift.

D-Now Weekend
Next month is our annual D-Now Weekend on January 14-16.  We are going to be studying inHabit: learning to be set apart from the world.  We will have the James Curlin Band, Tim Stary as our speaker, inflatables, competitions, games, food, staying up way too late, and fun.  The cost is $40.  If you are an adult interested in helping serve or a student wanting to attend, please contact Brian Roberson at brian@fellowshipofmontgomery.net.

The Kove Pre-School Ministry:
The Kove: Nursery through Pre-K.   This month we will begin our new series "Professor Playtime's Christmas Shop of Wonders."  In this series your children will learn a different facet of the Christmas story as they spend time with Professor Playtime and his assistant, Holly. Guests who visit the shop will learn about the greatest gift of all while finding just what they need.

While learning the story of Jesus' birth and life, Professor Playtime will help your children explore bravery, kindness, obedience, joy, patience, and generosity. If you have any Christmas decorations that you could donate to help us decorate for this upcoming series, please contact Rockey Butler or Christy Hall.
The Wave Children's Ministry

The Wave: Kindergarten - We are starting a new series called "Professor Playtime's Christmas Shop of Wonders," where the professor will help us to understand the true meaning of Christmas and to experience this holiday through the eyes of people who were actually there!

Bring your carols, your wrapping paper, and as much jolliness and cheer as you can carry, because Professor Playtime's Christmas Shop of Wonders is open for business!

If you are ready to "Tinker" in our current or upcoming series, by being a volunteer (technical, teaching, and other positions are always needed), please contact Rockey Butler at rockey@fellowshipofmontgomery.net  or drop by and see him on Sunday mornings or Wednesdays evenings.

We would also like for you to join us on Wednesday nights as we continue to learn and explore each book of the Bible.  On Wednesday nights, we meet at 6:30 pm in the west end of our building to enjoy pizza and games with our friends.  At 7:00 pm we move upstairs to The Wave to have fun and fellowship as we study the Bible.
If you are ready to check out serving as a volunteer (technical, teaching, and other positions are available), please contact Rockey Butler at rockey@fellowshipofmontgomery.net or just drop by and see him.

The Ride Pre-Teen Ministry

The Ride
The Ride Update:
The Ride Preteens: 4th - 6th grade - Sunday Mornings.  This month in the Ride, we are continuing the series "Loosen the Fear Knot."    This series is aimed at helping students not just cope, but overcome fear in their lives. We will address some common fears that pre-teens have, such as heights, snakes, spiders, bullies, etc.  Through this series we will use Joshua 1:9 ; "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
On Wednesday evenings, starting at 6:30, Andy Van and Marissa Scholl would enjoy having you for fun, food, games, and a continual study of God's Word and its application in your everyday life.

All school age kids will be attending worship with their parents on December 26, 2010.  This will allow our volunteers to spend time with their families in Christmas Worship.

If you have any questions regarding the children's ministry programs or if you are interested in helping and serving, please contact Rockey Butler at rockey@fellowshipofmontgomery.net.  We would love to have you be a part of this vibrant and growing ministry.
Children's Ministry Record Update

We are in the process of updating our Children's Ministry files.  This will help us notify families of upcoming events in the church.  Please take a moment to fill out one of the information sheets located around the church and drop them in the boxes located at the entrance of the Wave or the Ride.  Thank you for your assistance.
