Greetings!
As I write you today, I continue to be amazed at the blessings God pours out upon us.  It was just three short weeks ago that our construction crew started the dirt work.  But today we have a 3,200 sq. ft. addition to our building that we will soon be able to use as part of an ongoing commitment to reach and teach young people about Jesus Christ.  I want to encourage you, this Sunday, to take a moment just to walk inside of the addition and to thank God for what He has done here.  You can also click here to check out a few of the construction photos on our website.  If you would like to know more about our vision for the expansion of our children and student ministries and how you can participate through giving, please take a look at this information on our website.

Another tremendous blessing for our church has been the addition of two new staff members in recent days.  Myra Lundstrom is now serving as Minister of Children and Administration, and John Garrett joins us as our Worship Leader.  I could not have imagined, some 14 months ago when I came to Fellowship of Montgomery, that I would have the privilege to serve with such a talented and godly staff.  I thank God for Brian, John, Myra, their spouses, and their children, and I ask you to pray for them regularly.

Please don't forget that Daylight Saving Time begins early Sunday morning.  Please move your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.  If you think about it, you should probably mention this to the friends you have invited to church this week as well.

Before I close, I wanted to include one more link that I recommend checking out.  Many of you have commented to Brian and me about the incredible things you saw and heard during our student's Disciple Now Weekend.  So if you will click here you will be taken to a website that has the two video clips produced for that weekend service.

Remember to tell someone about your church, and I hope to see you Sunday.

May the Lord bless you,

Pastor Dale

Pre-Teen Camp
It's fun... it's crazy... and it's here again!  Camp pre-registration is due in the church office by March 15.  We will be returning to Trinity Pines in Trinity, TX, and the camp dates are July 14-18.  Please see Andy Van or contact him at 936-597-5129 or vango@consolidated.net for camp information and registration details.  We don't want you to miss out!

Kids

Children's Ministry
On Wednesday nights, we have children's activities for 1st-3rd grades.  This will be a great time for your child to learn and grow in God's Word while having a lot of fun.  If you are interested in helping or bringing your child, please contact Myra Lundstrom for more details.

Parents of Children
On March 28, immediately following the worship service, we will have a "meet and greet" time for parents and children.  This will be a great time to visit with Myra, other parents in the church, and discover more about the awesome future of our children's ministry.

MyraMinister of Children and Administration
I am so excited to be a part of Fellowship of Montgomery and the opportunity to serve and lead. I have a passion for helping children build a spiritual foundation personally and to see them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  I believe that children are not only the future of our churches, but that God has a plan right now for their lives.

My husband Larry and I have been married for almost thirteen years and have two children, Blake and Chloe. I love to spend extra time with my family, running, riding horses and boating.  You might catch me at a baseball game or two since my son Blake loves to play baseball.  Chloe is excited about someday being a barrel racer and loves animals.

I currently hold an Associates in Childhood Development as well as certifications in licensing, training and early childhood.  I am taking courses online for a degree in Children and Family Ministries. For the past seven years I was blessed to be a part of First Baptist Academy in Conroe, where I served as the Assistant Director. Prior to being the Assistant Director, I worked as a Preschool Teacher and Office Manager.  Before being called to Ministry I worked in the corporate industry for Exxon.

I would love to get to know each of you and I look forward to all great things ahead. If there is any way I can help you, please feel free to call, email, or just stop by the church to say hi!
