| Greetings! |
| God has blessed us with a super summer. Each week I find myself wondering what He will do next. It was a blessing for me to be able to spend the week with our students, student pastor, and adult sponsors at Student Life Camp. It was a great worship experience and truth encounter for our junior high and high school students. One of our seniors placed his faith in Jesus as Savior while several others shared with us how God challenged them personally.
Another area God is blessing us in is through the expansion of our Small Group Ministry. Beginning Sunday, August 2, a new group will be meeting at the home of Trent and Shannon Elliott. For more information you can contact Trent and Shannon at 936-447-3035. I hope each of you will prayerfully consider your involvement in a group where you can build friendships, discover truths from God's Word, and support one another through prayer and encouragement.
Several of you have asked about membership at Fellowship of Montgomery. I want to invite you to join me on August 9, in our worship center, at 5:00 p.m. for Membership 101. You will discover details about our history, basic beliefs, and where God is leading us for the future.
Be sure to click here and check out recent photos I have uploaded on our website including Student Life Camp and Ladies Night Out. Lord willing, I look forward to seeing you Sunday as we worship our Savior and turn our attention to God's Word.
May the Lord bless you,

Adult Volunteers
If you would like to get plugged in to the Student Ministry, please join us this Sunday, July 12 at Pizza Shack right after the service. Anybody who would like to be a part of the student ministry, whether that is by driving your car to an event, hanging out with students on Wednesday nights, helping plan events, being a sponsor, or just learning more about the student ministry, feel free to attend. This will be a casual time to get to know each other and discuss the future plans for the next year. Feel free to come and go at anytime. Please let Brian know if you are coming by emailing him at brianjroberson@gmail.com or calling him at 936-203-2013. See you there!
Lunch for a Bunch
Lunch for a Bunch starts Monday, July 13. Any student grades 5th-12th is invited to meet at the restaurant for that designated date and have lunch. We will meet at noon and hang out for approximately one hour. Our first restaurant is 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. On the 20th we will meet at Double Daves, and on the 27th we will meet at Rancho Grande.
Zoo Trip
July 17th is what we have all been waiting for.....monkeying around. The youth group is going to the zoo, and we will be leaving at 10:00 a.m. from the church. The cost is $10 for admission, and the students need to bring money for lunch. Students must sign up by Sunday, July 12th, so we will have enough spots in cars. If anybody would like to help drive, please contact Brian at brianjroberson@gmail.com. |
| Pre -Teen Ministry |
Pre-teen students will be leaving for summer camp on July 15. All students attending camp need to be at Fellowship of Montgomery on Wednesday, July 15, no later than 1:00 p.m. Due to camp, there will be no other pre-teen activities at the church until the following week. As you know, many lives are changed forever as God works through the ministry of summer camp. Please be sure to pray for our students and leaders as they seek to "put on the full armor of God" (Eph. 6:11). |
